Advertising Mail

Advertising Mail is primarily used for uniform messages to a client base that meets the minimum requirements for any of the services such as Letters, Large Letters or Packets and can be used in conjunction with the sortation requirements and volumes that meet the Business Mail specifications, however to get that extra bit of discount it has to meet a few more rules:-

  • Must promote the sale of products or services
  • Encouragement or contribution to a cause or support a cause
  • You must have a Royal Mail account or you can use Mail and Prints OBA account
  • the volume of your mailing
  • how your letters are addressed – e.g. using OCR or Barcode
  • whether you are presenting mail sorted or not sorted
  • all items meeting the Letter, Large Letter and Packet format dimensions.
  • you meet the data criteria for mail that is 100% advertising content

Advertising Mail pricing depends on:

Advertising Mail does not only apply to Mail Sorted mail, it can be used with the unsorted services as well, but the condition regarding the type of use is still strictly for marketing purposes.

Please note all speeds of service are available with Advertising Mail – 1st class, 2nd class and Economy services.
