• Large Mailings
  

We recently undertook a mailing of 1.8 million items for a political party for the European Election Mailings. We were supplied with flat A3 printed sheets and we endorse folded these to A5, mailsorted the databases and inkjet printed the data straight to the items. These were then boxed, labelled and palletised and all delivered to 22 different delivery areas between 8am and 12pm on the same day. Even though the items were delivered to us 5 few days later than agreed, we still managed to meet the original delivery deadline and our customers were very pleased with the work we did.

• Panic Mailings

We received a phone call from a new customer one morning wanting a mailing out the same day. We said “no problem”. Even though the customer did not finally approve the artwork until 3:30 that afternoon, we still managed to digitally print a personalised colour letter and a colour A4 invite, fold both to DL, insert them into DL envelopes and mail 400 out the same day. Our customer was very impressed as it would have taken her and her employees about 3 days to do.

• Daily Mailings

We mail daily for a local energy company approximately 500 items per day. Every morning they email us the files and we print personalised statements on their letterhead, which we hold in stock, fold the statements to A5 and insert them into their pre-printed C5 window envelopes. These are mailed out daily on their Royal Mail postage docket.

• Hand Matching Mailings

Not all of our mailings are done by machine, where necessary we will insert items into envelopes by hand, usually when matching is required or if the item is an unusual size or shape and will not machine insert. For one of our customers we laser printed 31,000 personalised certificates and personalised letters in mailsort order. These were then inserted by hand into manilla board back window envelopes, whilst maintaining a strict matching protocol, bagged and tagged, and released to post. We turned this mailing round in less than three days from receipt of data and materials.

• Polymailings

We mail on average about once a month for a company that run training courses. The mailings vary in quantity between about 2,000 and 30,000. The customer supplies us with A4 brochures and their database. We dedupe and mailsort their data and print carrier sheets in black ink using the customer’s return address and any logos or images they wish to use at no extra cost. We then polywrap the carrier sheet and the brochure in clear recyclable polythene and mail them out using the cheapest method. We are also able to offer our customer substantial discount on their overseas postage.
