Folding from B1 to A6

Mail and Print operates a B30 MBO 4/4 folder with continuous feeder, enabling us to run constantly to keep production speeds up for long run jobs, the largest to date was 1.8 million A3 sheets folder to A5 and inkjet printed in line.

We also operate a Stahl pile feed system for this stock that will not go around the MBO B30, we us this line for scoring and perforating as well.

For shorter run work we have two Morgana machines that can produce gatefolds as well as the general folding requirements for digital and shorter run litho jobs.

Perforating and Scoring

In line continuous perforating on both folding lines for tear off strips or for mailers that have removable sections, in addition to this we have two Hunkler controller units on the Stahl machine that allow us to produce start stop perforation in line with folding – so no need for a plate in many cases.

Stop Perforating

Perforation in two directions, stopping and starting – being run in line with folding or other finishing such as re-moist gluing.
